Our community, together with the Spanish community will once again put up the traditional Advent Giving Tree Project through which you can give a simple gift to refugees housed in Basel. You will find a small Christmas tree beside the altar decorated with tags indicating the types of gifts refugees require (e.g. gloves, socks, hat etc.). Please take a tag hanging from the Advent tree, purchase the gift and return it to the box adjacent to the tree wrapped and with the tag on the outside by Sunday 14th December. Through the generosity of our communities, OeSA (Ecumenical Pastoral Ministry for Asylum seekers) will distribute the gifts at a Christmas Party at the OeSA support centre on the 18th of December.
