After a difficult two years, beginning this Sunday 20th February, COVID measures for Mass attendance have been lifted.
There is no restriction on the number of persons attending Mass, wearing of masks is a personal choice and COVID certificates are no longer required. We request you to continue to respect physical distancing requirements, in particular when approaching the altar to receive Holy Communion.
To celebrate the occasion, we have planned an impromptu outdoor Social after Mass at the entrance to the Church. Father Sibi and Council members will be there to celebrate with you, hopefully welcoming many back.
Although we made every effort to ensure our Church was a safe place to gather during these difficult times, we understand that many community members stayed away to protect themselves and their families. We hope that with the changes this week you are looking forward to returning to Mass to pray together.
Additionally, our Confirmation candidates for 2022 (Pierre, Ria, Daniela, Titus, Achiel, Peter, Laila) will support Father Sibi during this Sunday’s Mass. What a wonderful opportunity to pray for these young people as they continue their learnings to receive the Sacrament June 12th.
We are very much looking forward to gathering again as a community, just in time to start the preparations for the season of Lent and the glorious feast of Easter.
